The studio
I grew up in a very small town in northern Indiana on a blueberry farm until I moved to Indy for college in 2018. I got my degree in English but I knew about halfway through it wasn't what I ultimately wanted to pursue a career in. I would sometimes do my friend's hair in college just for fun. My mother was also a hair stylist and taught me to do my own hair so I had a great time experimenting on myself and my friends. I took a year after college to just work as a barista and figure out what I wanted to do, and then I decided to put myself through cosmetology school.
